In 2025, we made a proud decision to move to Valrhona chocolate—a French chocolatier known not only for its exceptional quality but also for its industry-leading sustainability practices. Every bean we use is now 100% traceable back to its source, ensuring transparency, fair working conditions, and respect for the environment at every step. Valrhona partners directly with farmers, prioritising sustainable agroecology and improving community livelihoods.
Valrhona is more than a chocolate supplier—they’re a certified B Corporation, committed to reducing environmental impact and improving cocoa-growing communities worldwide. With a bold target to reduce emissions by 50% by 2030, they’ve also adopted a zero-deforestation policy, mapped every cocoa plot they work with, and made packaging fully recyclable and FSC-certified. By choosing Valrhona, we’re choosing a chocolate that’s better for people and planet alike.
We’ve always believed that great chocolate doesn’t need shortcuts. That’s why our products are completely palm oil free—always have been, and always will be. Instead, we rely on high-quality cocoa butter and time-honoured methods to deliver rich flavour and a perfect melt, without compromising on ethics or quality.
From the very beginning, we’ve paid close attention to what we wrap our chocolates in. All our packaging—from boxes to wraps and ribbons—is made using 100% recyclable materials. We avoid unnecessary plastics, choosing instead natural, responsibly sourced papers and card that can be recycled at home. Simple choices, big impact.
Whenever we can, we support British producers and growers. Our sugar comes from British farms, and we use Kent-grown morello cherries for some of our favourite confections. These choices don’t just reduce food miles—they also strengthen the communities around us and ensure the freshest, most flavourful ingredients.
